TYPES OF ESTIMATES 
(ESTIMATION KITNE PARKAR K HOTE HAIN?)

1. Perliminary or Rough cost or Approximate Estimates

Preliminary Method is the method to find out an approximate cost in short time. This will helps to decide the financial position and policies.
for administration sanction by the concerned authority in case of commercial projected like irrigation projects , buildings project which earn revenue income and approximate income is worked out then like irrigation

jaisa ki naam se hi pata chalta hain ki perliminary survey ka istemaal hum kisi bhi project ka anumanit(approximate) cost calculate karne ke liye use kartey hain.
ye jab istemaal kiya jata hain jab hume apna project ka revenue (cost) janna ho tab wo cost kisi ka bhi ho sakta hai jaise ki, irrigation aur buildings project.

2.Detail Estimate(Item Rate) 

Detail estimate means the estimate includes everything that need to complete the projects as well as contractor's profit and overhead cost

NEEDS

For this type of estimates, estimators needs to complete followings

(i) Set of Drawing and Instructions manual of the projects
(ii) It also included insurance, Bond, equipment and other necessary needs.
(iii) This estimates shows required material ,Time ,Labour to complete the projects.

IN HINDI 
Details estimate jaisa ki name se hi indicate hota hai ki  ye estimate briefly kiya Jata hain isme in sabhi bato ka dhyan rakha jata hai ki

(i)  Hume wo sari jarurato ka dhyan rakhna hota hai jaise ki Drawing and manual of Projects
(ii) Issey related sari chij jaise ki projects kitne din chalega kaun se material kisse lena hain aur kab lena hai , kitna fund ki jarurat hogi project complete karne me.
(iii) Is estimate me hume kuch chijo ka kuch jyda dhyan rakhna hota hai jaise ki kitne material ki aawsaykta hogi , kitne labour ki kitne mashons ki is sabhi ko dhyan me rakhte huye hume  plan map ready karna hota hain.

3.Unit Based Estimate

Unit based estimate is prepared by calculating area and then multiplying area by predefined unit cost. And then adjusted the cost by considering building length ,width and height components.

NEEDS

Required followings in Unit Based Estimate 

(i) simple floor plan with measurements and key elevation of the building.
(ii) Its used to check wheater the projects are designed within owner's budget.

Eg:- Approx Estimate in case of hostel or a school can be made per class room or bed room etc.

EXAMPLE:- Approximate cost of 50 BED Hospital @35000 rupees per bed room to as 35 lakh.

PER UNITS BASIS ARE MAY BE TWO TYPES 

1.Plinth Area Basis.
2.Cubic Rate Method.
